The Universal ShowQueen Pageant was designed twenty-four years ago to enlighten the transsexual's experience as a contestant, fashion model, professional entertainer, and spokesperson. You will find so enchanting a live pageant ingeniously combining the brilliant style and sophistication of fashion elegance, provocative talents, and flirtatious showgirl costumes east and west of Las Vegas.

Divisions of Competition
Couture Cocktail: Haute Couture in black, white, or a combination of both colors which high-light modeling ability, originality, and stage presence. Contestants will ramp to the Universal ShowQueen signature instrumental theme of, “Spring Rain.”

Evening Gown: Creative elegance of a formal gown. Each contestant’s presentation of her gown, personality, poise, charm, and stage presence will be judged along with ShowGirl panache.

Talent Presentation: Contestant’s personal ingenuity, original choreography, stage presence, overall production, and entertainment value will be presented.

ShowGirl Costume: Contestants model a showgirl, theatrical, or ethnic costume. Personality, poise, stage presence, showgirl stage make-up, and showgirl attitude will be judged.
